DATE: Saturday & Sunday, May 17 & 18, 2024
LOCATION: Wamplers Lake, 1072 Shoreline DR, Brooklyn, MI. 48230
ENTRY FEE: $45 includes: Morning bagels, cream cheese, coffee; Dinner of pizza, salad, chips and drinks after racing. (Sailors are responsible for their own lunches.)
ENTRIES: Wayfarers and CL16
RULES: Current ISAF RRS 2025-2028
SCHEDULE: 1 race to 12 races will be sailed depending on wind direction etc.
9 a.m. to 11 a.m. there will be help on rigging and getting your boat ready for the season
9 a.m. – registration begins
11 a.m. – skippers meeting
Noon – first gun, from 1 to 6 races
Dinner – ASAP after last race; we will try and have the fleet ashore by 4 to 4:30 p.m. to allow traveling boats time to get home.
SCORING: The low point scoring system of Appendix A will apply:
One race is required to be completed to constitute a regatta.
When 3 or more races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score.
When fewer than 3 races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores.
Directions: Google for directions, boats in front, cars in back. Camping in back.
Alternative: W.J. Hayes State Park at 1220 Wamplers Lake Road, Onstead, MI 49265. The park is just around the corner and has a boat launch.
