Boats for Sale

03/26/25: 1966 Wayfarer Mk I fiberglass: Free to a good home.

Please think of t his boat as a kit boat. It has been carefully dis-assembled to be re-assembled. This request for the add came with 33 pictures. I could not post them all. But owner will happily send you the link to the photos. There are parts that do need to be replaced, but the old parts are there to use as templates. With some ingenuity and epoxy the boat can be re-assembled. The boat has the original Proctor gold boom, but the mast is a replacement, it looks like it might be from a CL 16. It comes with two main sails, and a jib. It has one of the legendary Pamco trailers which tip to launch and retrieve. You can reach the owner Ron Havelaar at Ph 817-713- 1622 or you can email him at rhavelaar@aol.com. The boat is located near Carthage Texas, WSW of Shreeveporte La.

12/04/24: W887: Wooden Wayfarer Mk I: Blue Mist owned by Dick Herrington: $3500

W887 Mark 1 Wooden Wayfarer (1964): Richard (“Dick”) Harrington’s “Blue Mist”, $3500

Did you ask Santa for a Wayfarer this Christmas?

This 1964 Mark 1 Woodie, named Blue Mist, was assembled in England. Richard Harrington, my father, purchased her in 1991 from the original owner, and she was his pride and cruising joy for the remainder of his life. Blue Mist is located in Ashtabula County, Ohio near Saybrook, about an hour east of Cleveland.

This Wayfarer was in good condition when last sailed late in 2019. Since the Covid pandemic, poor health prevented my father from sailing so the dinghy was mostly stored with boat cover under a carport after that time.Blue Mist comes with mainsail, spinnaker, two oars, boat cover, “boom tent”, and all the miscellaneous gear and accessories that my father acquired over his many years of cruising Lake Erie, coastal Maine, the Chesapeake Bay and so many other beautiful sailing locations. The trailer is old although still functional.

10/15/24: W1321:Wooden Wayfarer Mk I : $3000

This is a 1966 Mk I Woodie named Soje which is the traditional Norwegian term for silver jewelry and adornments. As the name suggest, she is a gem. Her decks could use to be refinshed, but her topsides were painted with Awlgrip and are in good condition. She has a gold proctor mast, several sets of sails, anchors, and a tent. She was primarily used for cruising. There is an additional wooden mast but needs repairs. There is an additional Honda 2hp outboard being offered for $500. The boat is located near Lapeer Michigan. Don’t miss your chance to own a classic wooden Wayfarer. Please contact Robert Mosher: ph: 517-420-5820.
